BUSH'S SPEECH ON IMMIGRATION REFORM - Jim Colyer

President Bush spoke last night on the immigration problem. He said we need to secure our borders and will use the National Guard to help the Border Patrol. He wants a temporary worker program as a legal path for foreign workers. He wants to hold employers accountable. Bush acknowledged that the 12 million Mexicans here illegally may attain citizenship but must pay taxes, learn English and respect the law.
